AIRPORT TRANSFERS ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR RESORT COST. PLEASE CHECK ON YOUR RESORT RESERVATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT THEY ARE BEFORE BOOKING YOUR OWN.
***CRITICAL UPDATED INFORMATION REGARDING AIRPORT TRANSFERS***
YOUR AIRPORT TRANSFERS ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR COST. THERE IS NO NEED TO HIRE A PRIVATE COMPANY TO COLLECT YOU FROM, OR RETURN YOU TO THE AIRPORT. HOWEVER, YOU DO NEED TO BOOK YOUR TRANSFER WITH THE RESORT. YOU CAN DO THIS IN ONE OF TWO WAYS:
1) EMAIL YOUR FLIGHT DETAILS AND RESORT BOOKING CODE TO THE FOLLOWING EMAIL ADDRESS: transfers.domrep@seasonstours.com
2) CALL THE RESORT BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE (the number is on the 'How to Book' page) BUT, THEY WILL PROBABLY JUST TELL YOU TO FOLLOW THE #1 INSTRUCTIONS!

These are your options for ground transfers from PUJ airport to Excellence El Carmen if for some reason you want to book your own (no idea why you would, mind you!). It’s about a 45 min ride on very nice roads, we must say! We have not used any of these companies but they have excellent reviews. Click on the link and book directly with them.

WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT DO IS TO ARRIVE IN COUNTRY WITHOUT THIS SORTED OUT AND DECIDE TO JUMP IN WITH ONE OF THE MILLION OR SO TAXI HAWKERS OUTSIDE OF THE AIRPORT. THAT IS THE FASTEST WAY TO A NIGHTMARE.
Remember: The DR is not a particularly safe country outside of the resorts and organized tours. You seriously take your live in your hands if you decide to go roaming around on your own. .Big Smiles Don't Equal Safety.
